Trane introduces Resolute heat pumps and air handler units. The all-electric heat pump technology is ideal for year-round indoor comfort in all regions. Keep your home warm and cozy in temperatures as low as -30 ºC and cool and dry even when there’s a heat wave.

Combining an outdoor heat pump and indoor air handler, the Resolute system offers the best of both worlds in heating and cooling. Unlike most standard heat pumps, the Resolute system’s innovative engineering makes it capable of producing heat in outdoor temperatures as low as -30 ºC, and even lower with the addition of auxiliary electric heat. When the weather gets hot and muggy, the heat pump runs in reverse, providing cool, dry air throughout your home.

Equipped with a variable speed compressor, the Resolute system offers high-efficiency cooling and heating in every season, qualifies for Energy Star® and may be eligible for energy-efficiency rebates. In addition to energy savings, the all-electric Resolute system doesn’t burn fossil fuels or produce combustion byproducts (also known as greenhouse gases) that must be vented to the outdoors.
